ANH TRAN
           ABOUT      WORK     CONTACT
Anh Tran is a Vietnamese born and Naarm/Melbourne-based artist and transdisciplinary designer who works with digital filmmaking, virtual reality (VR), extended reality (XR), immersive exhibition, sound and costume design and artificial intelligence.

Her practice in digital narrative explores the integration of emerging technologies to promote environmental consciousness. By working with emerging digital technologies, she situates her works to re-define our perception of the environment and cultivate a sensibility that extends beyond human perspectives.

Transitioning from an interior design background to digital narrative practice, Anh aims to advocate for environmental conciousness, feminism and multicultural sensitivity. Her artworks are dedicated to deepening our understanding and appreciation of nature’s intricacies through immersive experiences, embracing complexity, uncertainty, and a non-binary perspective. This approach allows Anh to underscore the potential of immersive experiences, pushing the boundary of storytelling and technology to foster ecological awareness and emphasises the importance of addressing these complex issues through a non-anthropocentric lens.
